Next Roadtrip: Departure Date TBD

It feels like the wee hours of the night, even though it’s only 11:11pm here on the left coast. After my very long, but worthwhile day, I’m sitting here daydreaming (nightdreaming?) about my next road trip.  I know this sounds crazy since I just drove across country in August and I’m going to be gone most of November and February already… but I love the open road!  Preliminary stages have me thinking April or May, but the beauty of this particular trip is that I could just decide tomorrow (figuratively speaking) to hop in the car and go.  Total estimated driving is 1,500 miles and I’d probably take two weeks, ish. The only repeat place I’d be going is San Francisco, which is exactly why I want to go – to explore my new state!

Here’s my rough map and list of destinations, suggestions and traveling companions are very welcome!  Have a lovely Wednesday everyone and drive fun 🙂

San Diego –> Joshua Tree National Park –> Death Valley National Park –> Yosemite National Park –> Sacramento –> Napa Valley –> San Francisco –> Santa Cruz –> Santa Barbara –> San Diego

Wait a minute, this is MY next roadtrip dream! Guess you will have to be the “forward scout” for me. Sounds great!

Thanks again for the call. It made my day & week! I kept thinking about all the exciting things you are finding, discovering, doing & inventing in CA. You really are a great combination of Dad’s & my traits (plus the fact that we have definitely “improved with each generation” as he used to like to say!) You are a very smart, kind, special woman. I know I keep repeating this, but I truly believe you have & are changing lives you touch every day.

Much love, smiles & hugs, Mom

Hey Karen, count me in too! I’d love to do this when Brett is back at Berkeley – probably for summer school in late May.

Can’t wait till Chile!!!!!! Love, Cyn
